At age 5, I made bracelets out of colorful pipe cleaners and beads and sold them for $1 a piece at a neighborhood block party.  Upon returning home, I presented my Mom with $20 as I made 20 sales for the day.  I was excited to show how I  planned everything on my own and decided that the block party would be the best place to sell my bracelets.  My Mom quickly supported me and purchased more supplies as well as some other jewelry wholesale.   At the age of 9, my Grandmother enrolled me in a small business course and I began participating in local pop up shops.
